We are looking for a Data Engineer who can design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructures that support our clients’ evolving needs. The ideal candidate is adept at working with both traditional and modern data platforms, possesses strong coding skills, and is passionate about scalable, secure data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• • • Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to collect, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
    • Architecture & Modeling: Collaborate with solution architects to design data models and storage solutions that balance performance, scalability, and cost.
    • Tooling & Automation: Develop scripts, tools, and frameworks to automate data workflows and optimize resource usage.
    • Quality & Governance: Implement best practices for data quality, security, and governance, ensuring reliable and compliant datasets.
    • Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that support advanced analytics.

Requirements

• • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • Hands-on expertise in SQL.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
    • Fluent in Finnish and English.
